How do you recognize food

organically grown?

If it says organic ... it's sure to contain organic too!

Only organic products may bear the following designations:

»From (controlled) organic (ecological) cultivation (farming)«

"From (controlled) organic (ecological) agriculture"

The control body can either be named or

be identified by the control number (e.g. AT-BIO-301).

In the case of unpackaged organic products, such as those offered at farmers' markets, it is best to ask the producer

according to his control number or you can get the certificate

show his control point.

Beware of "organic vertigo"

Be careful with terms such as from near-natural cultivation,

from environmentally friendly agriculture or

from controlled cultivation -

these have nothing to do with organic!
